Let’s Start with the role

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for driving an efficient operation to ensure growing customer satisfaction, incremental growth from ongoing business, healthy profit margin, as well as support strategic initiatives. The Commercial Manager has the P&L and site ownership.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing the P&L and KPIs. The main KPIs are NGR, Retention, Conversion, Actives as well as bottom-line
  • Creating and owning the commercial strategy and local brand positioning. Responsible for communicating and follow-up the execution of the strategy in the overall company, on both strategic, tactic and operational level. Execution is however owned and responsibility of each relevant department. The Commercial Manager is the main stakeholder but not owning the execution at this point.
  • Establishing and maintaining key strategic and tactical plans for the existing business
  • Influencing and taking part in meetings around the branding and the creative process for its country/brand within the organisation
  • Major stakeholder in recruiting, managing and coaching the commercial team, despite that the team is in different departments
  • Providing input to and actively participate in the quarterly briefing of the Marketing Acquisition plan to continuously improve performance
  • Providing input to and actively participate in the quarterly planning of Retention campaigns and yearly planning CRM campaigns
  • Daily contact with and giving clear input to and following-up on the VIP team activities
  • Setting the requirements for business needs across all departments e.g., Customer Support, VIP, Payments, Finance, Legal/Compliance, KYC, CRM, Marketing, Casino and Sports-book product, Trading, Technology, BI etc.
  • Provides input to the “Technical Road Map forum”
  • Ownership of the local content strategy and input to local content execution person
  • Full site ownership
  • Ensuring compliance of all activities with input from the local Compliance Manager
  • Ensuring regular market research, competitive analysis, product gap-analysis, campaign analysis, customer value analysis is being done, feedback is provided and follow-up with clear action plans in the respective department in the company
  • Delivering reports and coordinating strategic changes with CEO/management team

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position in consumer-focused online high transactional industry, ideally from gambling and/or casino industry
  • Proven success driving a P&L and a team
  • Customer focused, hands-on and excellent executor, with strong business sense, sales driven mindset
  • A good understanding of online conversion, retention and reactivation techniques
  • A thorough understanding of the aesthetics and parameters of driving customer loyalty and value in a transactional web and mobile environment
  • Good knowledge of key performance and customer metrics
  • Excellent Greek and English both in speaking and writing
  • High energy and ambition levels with passion for success
  • Strong leadership, cooperation and analytical skills, team spirit
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Very good cooperation skills and stakeholder management skills, experience from working as a stakeholder and specifying requirements across the company in a positive, collaborative and performance driven way

NICE TO HAVE

  • International experience and working knowledge
  • Good understanding of marketing in a transactional web and mobile environment 
  • Experience of process driven operations
